I think the country is guilty of short-term thinking. Over the next few years the world will change completely. The cost of meat will drop dramatically raising the possibility of the elimination of world hunger. Technolgy will change completely. The applications that this new technology brings are beyond my understanding. Again the cost of this new technology will drop. Robots will replace human beings. Unemployment will rise and goverments will have to consider giving citizens a basic income. These changes will make discussion of whether we join or leave the European Union appear almost irrelevant. Co-operation between countries will remain important if we are going to smooth over the impact of these changes. So it will be all change over the next few years.
